It is a neuromuscular disease causing a gradual muscle weakness on the hindlimb and back, which is manifested by poor coordination of movements, cramped and asymmetric walking, or incontinence.
The disease affects a wide range of dog breeds (described in more than 100 breeds) and start to develope at middle or upper age. Unfortunately, the disease is untreatable, it is gradually deteriorating, and after 3-5 years from the first manifestation of the disease, a death frequently occurs due to general weakness and paralysis of the respiratory muscles.
The test might be performed in a partner laboratory.

Thai Ridgeback
The Thai Ridgeback is a muscular, medium-sized dog with a graceful. It is a nimble and natural athlete originating from Thailand. Ridge on the back is formed by hair growing in the opposite direction. Coat coloration includes solid blue, black, red, or fawn with a black mask occasionally seen in dogs with red coats. Thai Ridgebacks also have spotted tongues. Today, most Ridgebacks are companion dogs, but they still retain many of the same instincts for the jobs they were bred for: hunting and guarding.
